The firm has been established in Blacktown since World War II. We believe because of this fact we have a unique local knowledge built up through many years of growing with the Blacktown and surrounding areas of the western suburbs of Sydney.
We have an extensive library, access to the Internet and are in a position to provide information updates regularly on not only development of Legislation, nationally and internationally, but also developments in building construction and scientific information important to public liability type claims.
We are able, through our membership of the American Bar Association and American Trial Lawyers Association and A.L.A (Australian Lawyers Alliance) able to provide Court decisions that may indicate trends that could be established in New South Wales. Of course, we are able to provide through our information services Court decisions/findings that are likely to establish precedent that may affect outcome or costs of claims management.
OFFICE FACILITIES
Our office is designed for Mediation and Arbitration with a large conference room and three separate interview rooms where all parties can meet for informal settlement discussion and/or mediation.
TECHNOLOGY
The firm has been a constant user of updated technology. At present this consists of word processing, accounting, litigation management, data bases and diarising.
All staff utilise their own computer terminals networked to the office system and are in varying degrees of computer literacy.
The firm subscribes to and regularly uses external data bases such as Lawpoint and has access to electronic mailing facilities.
