Mr. Murray Nott

Mr. Murray Nott

 

Mr. Murray Nott joined the firm in 1996 and has supported the team with his depth of knowledge and understanding of family law and the court system.

Murray’s years of experience equip him well for his dispute resolution practice be it, family law, de-facto law, equity, commercial, criminal, traffic and Police matters more generally.  He holds tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Economics and Law.

Prior to commencing his career in private practice, he worked as a Legal Officer with the State Government.  In that capacity, he provided advice to senior levels of administration and various Ministers of Government.  He was also responsible for negotiating, drafting and implementation of legislation as well as undertaking prosecution work throughout many areas of the State.

Murray has extensive experience in all the Courts of New South Wales as well as the Federal Magistrates Court and the Family Court.  Apart from litigation and court work his negotiation skills will assist you to resolve property disputes without the necessity of attending Court and also assist with prenuptial, co-habitation and post separation agreements as well as other family and relationship matters.

Murray’s areas of practice include but are certainly not limited to:
